Warranty

CrownForce's Lifetime Warranty

At CrownForce, we make our own tools. We stand behind every core bit, blade, and cup wheel we sell, and we back them with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

What this covers

Every CrownForce diamond tool is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the usable life of the product. If a tool fails because of how it was made, not how it was used, we will repair it, replace it, or refund it at our option.

This covers things like segments that separate from the barrel under normal, correct use, a defect in the weld, or a manufacturing flaw in the steel or core.

What this does not cover

This is a defect warranty, not a wear or replacement guarantee. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear. Diamond segments are consumable and wear down with use. A tool that has cut as intended and reached the end of its diamond is not defective. This is the tool doing its job.
  • Misuse or abuse, including using a dry bit wet or a wet bit dry, running a core bit in hammer mode, exceeding the maximum rated RPM, or forcing the tool.
  • Wrong application, such as cutting materials the tool was not built for.
  • Improper setup, including the wrong adapter, arbor, or drill, or running without proper cooling.
  • Damage from accidents, drops, overheating, or letting the tool bind or seize.
  • Modification or repair by anyone other than CrownForce.
  • Cosmetic wear, rust from storage, or loss and theft.

How to make a claim

Email us at [warranty@crownforcetools.com] with your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos of the tool. If it looks like a defect, we will send you a return label and inspect the tool. Approved claims are repaired, replaced, or refunded, usually within [X] business days of us receiving it.

Keep your proof of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

The fine print

Repair, replacement, or refund is your sole remedy under this warranty. To the extent allowed by law, CrownForce is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including lost time or labor. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
